Benefits of Downward Facing Dog:

  • Strengthens arms and legs
  • Lengthens spine to help relieve/prevent osteoporosis
  • Calms brain
  • Relieves stress
  • Energizes body
  • Improves digestion 

If you only have time for one pose, downward facing dog and its variations are a good option!
